The 'Queechy' tale was engrossing and extremely hard to put down. All in all, I highly recommend it. However, some part of the text was missing in the earlier part of the book, which was off-putting at the time, but did not unduly interfere with the story/5(16).

I loved this book. It's a sort of religion-based version of Pride and Prejudice. And the Queechy. book, Fleda, even gets Mr. Darcy and Pemberley in the end. Queechy is dated, but how could it not be. It's a lovely testament to the power of faith throughout one's life/5(11).
